INVISIBLE LEASH® Level 1 Program

Our award winning INVISIBLE LEASH® Level 1 Program is the first step of an innovative dog training system developed by Eric Letendre after over thirty years in the trenches – training dogs day after day, week after week, year after year.

Our Level 1 Program is the start of all our training for dogs five months and older. It combines both private instruction and group classes so you and your dog get the best of both worlds – personalized, one-one-one training and the benefits of the mild distractions that a group setting offers!

The best dog training school in New England will help your dog transform into an beloved family member through our specialized INVISIBLE LEASH® Dog Training System.

If your dog is younger than five months – please see our P.E.T.S. Puppy Program

INVISIBLE LEASH® Level 1 Dog Training Program

The 4 Key Elements of our Level 1 Program

  • ELIMINATE PROBLEM BEHAVIOR

Before training can happen, behavior problems must be stopped. You can’t train a dog to sit if he is jumping on you. In our Level 1 Program, you’ll learn how to easily and effectively stop unwanted behaviors.

  • COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Your dog will learn the commands necessary to live in harmony with you. This is achieved through proper communication. You and your dog must understand the same language for effective obedience training. We’ll show you how.

  • LEADERSHIP

Dogs are social animals that understand structure and status and need to learn you are the leader of the household.  Without a strong leader, they may become aggressive, anxious, and not respond to commands. You will learn simple, effective ways to teach your dog you are the leader.

  • PREPARATION (FOR OFF LEASH)

The endgame is off leash control. You want your dog to not jump on visitors on or off leash. You want your dog to come back when called on or off leash. We start preparing your dog to respond without the leash.

INVISIBLE LEASH® Level 1 Program Details

The INVISIBLE LEASH® Level 1 Program starts with a private training session where you and your dog will meet one-on-one with the trainer at our facility.

In the first Private Lesson you and your dog will learn:
  • Proper and effective management techniques
  • How to structure the relationship so that your dog looks to you as the leader
  • A four-word communication system
  • How to stop any unwanted behavior – FAST!

That is followed by four small half-hour group classes (once/week). The classes are offered on a continuous rotation and it doesn’t matter which class you start on. They are not dependent on the previous class. If you need to miss a week due to illness, vacation, vet appointment, etc. you will just pick up that class the next time it cycles through. We also understand schedules can be complicated so you do not need to attend the same day/time each week. Pick the classes that fit your schedule. For your convenience, we have Level 1 Classes at the following times: Mondays at 10:45am, Tuesdays at 5:45pm and 6:30pm, Wednesdays at 5:00pm, and Saturdays at 10:45am and 11:30am.

During the four Small Group Classes, you and your dog will learn:
  • How to easily and reliably teach your dog the stationary commands: sit, down, and stand
  • How to come back when called, even in distracting situations
  • How to walk politely by your side whether it’s a country lane or a busy city street
  • How to settle on command and “go to place” – for many this is the most useful command of all
  • How to develop a rock solid stay
  • How to reinforce good manners and how to prevent future behavior problems

Your success is important to us and we know that problems may crop up from time to time. This is why we offer a free follow up class when necessary (held Saturdays at 1:00pm). You’ll also have access 24/7 to our online Level 1 digital course to help reinforce what you have learned in the live training sessions and to answer any questions.

BONUSES:
  • A free copy of Eric’s INVISIBLE LEASH® Level 1 Book (also available on Amazon)
  • Free access to the INVISIBLE LEASH® Level 1 online course while enrolled in the program
  • Free Follow Up Classes when needed on Saturdays
Cost for the Entire Program: $395

If you are ready to get started, use the button to schedule your first private lesson. Once you have attended your first private lesson, you will be able to schedule your four group training classes and receive access to the online course. Or if you’d prefer, you can also call the office at 774-319-6351 and we’d be happy to do it for you.

FAQ's

We understand! That’s why the first session is a private lesson. At that time we are able to evaluate and fix your dog’s reactivity so that he/she can be successful in a group setting.

Most likely, yes! There is so much more to our INVISIBLE LEASH Dog Training System than just a few stationary commands. If however at during the first private session we determine your dog is more advanced, we can easily move on to the next level.

Our group classes are small and all problem behaviors are addressed before entering the group environment so most likely, no. The group setting will help your dog gain confidence in social settings.

Getting Started Is Easy

Dog Training Testimonials
"Eric and his team are the best. My 9-month old yellow Labrador was a nightmare! Jumping, biting, barking, you name it. She was very misbehaved. Everyone was scared of her because of her size and she was ‘impossible’ to tame. I could not figure it out for months. It was at the point my family wanted nothing to do with her and was willing to give her away to another family. But then I enrolled here and after the first class my dog was brand new. She was calm, knew how to stay, didn’t jump, bite, and was a huge relief. His team and him are beyond nice and give great advice. My dog is now loved by everyone and we bring her everywhere with no problem. I’m not embarrassed to have her around. She’s a great dog and I couldn’t ask for a better trainer. I 100% RECOMMEND ERIC AND HIS TEAM!!"

Dog Training Testimonials
"As an owner of four dogs, even though our dogs are relatively well-behaved, they were in definite need of discipline and training. After seeing Eric give a presentation at a local business my wife and I knew that Eric's program was exactly what we were looking for. We have just completed our first 5 week session and I must say we have absolutely seen definite improvement in all four dogs. The training was not only for the dogs, but also training for my family. Although we thought we were doing all the right things it quickly became clear that they were changes needed in our methods. Eric has been very professional, educational, patient, personable and clearly has a high level of interest in helping both the dog and owner have a healthier happier relationship. I very highly recommend his training program for anyone looking for any level of training for their dog and themselves. Complete and total satisfaction!!!!!!"

Dog Training Testimonials
"Eric is amazing! We have a Bernese Mountain dog and have completed other training classes prior to enrolling in Eric's course, but none of them had worked. The first time we met with Eric, we were blown away at how knowledgeable he was. He's personable and has a great teaching style that works! Our dog, Murphy, learned more in the first 45 minutes spent with Eric than in all of his other previous puppy classes combined. The biggest thing we were struggling with was Murphy pulling too hard on the leash when we walked him. This is common for Berners and since they grow really fast, it almost became too difficult to walk him at all. After just one class with Eric, Murphy's behavior improved significantly and now we are able to enjoy calm, peaceful walks that we initially never thought were possible. We would recommend Eric to anyone who has a dog and is interesting in teaching basic commands and especially to those who are struggling with breaking bad behavior with their dog. Thank you, Eric!!!"
