The 4 Key Elements of our P.E.T.S Puppy Program

  • P – Play

Play helps puppies develop the social and physical skills they will need for the rest of their lives. Play also provides much needed physical and mental stimulation.

  • E – Educate (the owners)

We train YOU to train YOUR puppy. Your puppy will live in your home for the next 10-15 years. It is important that you have the tools and education necessary for success.

  • T – Train (the puppy)

Training can start as early as eight weeks, and a puppy that is trained is a puppy that is safe and fun for everyone to be around.

  • S – Socialize

Develop a stable adult dog by making the most of your puppy’s critical socialization period with supervised puppy play sessions and exposure to new people, sights, and sounds.

INVISIBLE LEASH® P.E.T.S. Puppy Program Details

The INVISIBLE LEASH® P.E.T.S. Puppy Program starts with a private training session where you and your puppy will meet one-on-one with the trainer at our facility.

In the first Private Lesson you and your puppy will learn:
  • Proper and effective management techniques
  • How to structure the relationship so that your puppy looks to you as the leader
  • A four-word communication system
  • How to stop any unwanted puppy behavior – FAST!

That is followed by four small half-hour group classes (once/week). The classes are offered on a continuous rotation and it doesn’t matter which class you start on. They are not dependent on the previous class. If you need to miss a week due to illness, vacation, vet appointment, etc. you will just pick up that class the next time it cycles through. We also understand schedules can be complicated so you do not need to attend the same day/time each week. Pick the classes that fit your schedule. For your convenience, we have Puppy Classes at the following times: Mondays at 11:30am, Tuesdays at 5:00pm, Wednesdays at 5:45pm, and Saturdays at 10:00am.

During the four Small Group Classes, you and your puppy will learn:
  • How to easily get your puppy’s attention and keep her engaged through simple exercises and games
  • An introduction to basic obedience through luring and hand signals
  • How to build your puppy’s confidence and overcome fear using our agility equipment and exposure to foreign sights and sounds
  • Safe handling exercises to prevent any future food bowl aggression and relaxed vet and groomer visits
  • How to be calm and settled when visitors come over and conditioning your puppy to the house
  • Good manners and how to prevent future behavior problems

While enrolled in the P.E.T.S. Puppy Program, you can register your puppy for our free half-hour Puppy Open Play Sessions (held Mondays at 5:15pm and Saturdays at 12:15pm).

In the Open Puppy Play Sessions, your puppy will have the opportunity to:
  • Play with other puppies under 5 months of age in a safe and sanitary environment
  • Socialize with other adult humans
  • Build strength and confidence using our agility equipment
  • Release and burn off pent-up energy

You’ll also have access 24/7 to our online P.E.T.S. Puppy Program digital course to help reinforce what you have learned in the live training sessions and to answer any questions.

No more counter surfing for Nala with the tools you provided, one day was all it took and no more counter surfing, no more jumping on people when they come over. We have and will continue to recommend you to everyone we know. You guys are amazing and we will be back soon for off leash training. Remy and Nala thank you and so do we."

Dog Training Testimonials
"As a first time dog owner I was nervous on how to handle my dog (he was going to be big). We started with Eric’s puppy classes and immediately noticed a difference. No more jumping, chewing, or bad puppy behaviors. It also helped me gain confidence in myself and knowing that training takes consistent time, commitment, and repetition. We continued to work on training and when he was older we started off leash training. I can now confidently take my dog anywhere and let him off leash, knowing he will always come back. Eric’s classes are informative, and give you tools to help your dog be the best, most confident version they can be!"

Dog Training Testimonials
"When I got my German Shepherd puppy I knew I wanted to bring her to training classes, I asked my veterinarian for a recommendation and they handed me Eric’s business card. I am so glad I chose to bring her there. From puppy class, to reactive dog class, to adult class and now on to off leash class and canine good citizen. I feel very comfortable, as does my dog, attending these classes. My dog has made tremendous improvements. We, look forward to going to class each week. I highly recommend Eric for all your dog training needs. He really knows his stuff."
